Inspired by a Mother's Life of Caring
Sunari began long before we ever opened our doors. It began with our mother, Billy — a registered nurse who spent her career in emergency care, intensive care, and home health, and who volunteered her time caring for underprivileged women abroad.
In 2017, Billy was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. The woman who had spent her life caring for others now needed someone to care for her. As her son, I wanted to be there for everything — but I quickly learned what thousands of families discover every day: love doesn't always mean you can do everything alone.
